Coding: Critique Process

Note: probably should do separate sections delineating each after figuring it out as much as I can.

I suppose EM for external monitoring [critique] and IM for internal monitoring [preparation].  Maybe lowercase r for reference to either [within the reporting]. Or rather:

EM & IM for reporting of what is actually happening within either of those sections and EMr & IMr for within report referring to these sections

Vascillating…the use of caps vs. lower case, I think, already implies analogous steps in the processes. But is that a problem or a reason not to code it that way? Then again I need the caps and lowercase distinction for reporting of events and referring to events.  So then it becomes…

EM & IM for reporting of what is actually happening within either of those sections and em & im for within report referring to these sections.

Steps in the processes: External Monitoring

  1. The correlations[C] between the artist’s[P] verbal account[V] and the artwork[O-object],
  2. Reasons[E] why the verbalization[V] and imagery[R] do or do not significantly correlate,
  3. Additional clarification[V’] from the artist[P] regarding underlying concepts[UC, UF-underlying feelings] and chosen representation[CR],
  4. Group[P’] attempts to define/refine[D’] the artist’s underlying concepts[UC, UF] and chosen representation[CR],
  5. Suggestions[Dset] for improving the correlation[C] between the verbal account[Vset] and imagery[R],
  6. Suggestions[Dset] for particular or general modifications[M] to future art production[OP-object production],
  7. A summation[S, RG] by the artist, including a plan of action[PA].

Steps in the processes: Internal Monitoring

  1. Thinks about correlations[C] between what he intends[G] and the artwork [O-object],
  2. Formulates explanations[E] for why his intentions[G] and imagery[R] do or do not significantly correlate,
  3. Attempts[P] to define/clarify/refine[D] underlying concepts[UC, UF-underlying feelings] and chosen representation[CR],
  4. Formulates methods[G’] for improving the correlation[C] between intention[G] and imagery[R],
  5. Plans particular or general modifications[M] to future art production[OP-object production, and
  6. Sets revised goals[S, RG] or a plan of action[PA].

Cripes…I’m never going to get this finished.

Tired…will finish later

And had a thought…ability to assign categories. So need to create sub-categories under the Coding heading in the DataNet to match whatever coding I come up with. This way I will have the sort by code.
