Light and The Dark

Labyrinth of Knowledge

So, I’m riding that beam of light and… It’s a wondrous thing.

Then I heard the news and I actually felt the wave vibrate in response.

Would have sounded like a light saber, ya know? The force was with us.

Then, not too much later, the white heat of a state with which I have unfortunately become too familiar with began to overtake me and the light beam sputtered.

I was distracted by the inane protestings of the people from the dark side who must not have been there that night…

The night the world breathed a sigh of relief and people cried real tears… tears of joy.

The night a dying and barely flickering spark of hope globally took foothold in the downtrodden psyche of a species and the world suddenly looked brighter.

It was just a moment of distraction though.

Say it with me folks: “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.”

The AFRICAN AMERICAN that was voted into office that night and is running your country just got the Nobel Peace Prize.

Deal.

If he does nothing more than he did that night, it will have been enough.

The beam is whole again because I’m not gonna let you Sith spawn steal my joy.
